“Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place. For now I have chosen and consecrated this house that my name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there for all time.” (2 Chronicles 7:15-16) The Vietnam Mission hopes these words from sacred scripture to be true in our newly blessed St. Gaspar House of Discernment.
Deacon Tam Hoang, Vocation Director of the Vietnam Mission blessed our new house this past Sunday in a special prayer service for our Inquirers. Three of our Inquirers will be living in St. Gaspar House of Discernment. This was a “Come and See” experience for our fourth Inquirer who is discerning to come into the house of discernment. Please pray for Tinh, Khuong, Blir and Hoang in their ongoing discernment to join our Community.
Many thanks to the Kansas City Province for giving us permission to rent this house in Saigon. We believe it will serve us well as we seek to serve others from this “chosen and consecrated” house.
