From quilting bees and taffy pulls to suffragist meetings and abolitionist campaigns, circles of women have gathered throughout history to support each other, their families, and their communities. The wisdom of the circle has no end, just like the shape it names. In times of great change, full of unrest and unknowing, we need to tap into the strength and solidity of our roots more than ever. Come join your sisters as we explore how we can bring the gifts of feminine community into our everyday lives, affecting change within and around as we unite and work together.
This Women’s Circle is a work in progress and is intended to reflect the unique needs and desires of the community it serves. Come take part in shaping our group – we look forward to welcoming you!
Bring an extra warm and comfy layer, a curious mind and open heart, and a personal object of some type to use in introducing yourself – something you feel represents you or tells something about yourself you would like our group to know. A snack to share is welcome but not necessary. Drinks will be provided. Love offerings welcome but not necessary.
Facilitated by mediator and storyteller Mary Batson For more info, visit the event page on Facebook.
