On Sunday, October 13, Companions and Members gathered at St. Francis Xavier Church in St. Joseph, MO to celebrate a vigil for the Feast Day of St. Gaspar. During the prayer service we accepted permanent covenants of two of our original companions, Laurene O’Connor and Betty Rauth. Both had family members with them to assist them with their covenants. The theme of the event was St. Gaspar’s piety and conviction – how Gaspar put his faith into action.
