This past week Fr. Ron Will and Fr. David Matz traveled to South and North Dakota to visit our Companions in Aberdeen, SD, Linton, ND and Bismarck, ND. Despite going back into wintry weather, as the days progressed spring started to take ahold and what was once brown began to turn green with new life. This became a metaphor for the relationships renewed between our community and the Companions to the North. With the renewal of their covenants came a renewed sense of hope and identity as missionaries of the Precious Blood. It has been many years since we have connected with our Companions in this region, for some it had been 11 years since we were physically in each others presence. Like families gathering, we told stories, we ate great Russian/German food, then prayed together, and renewed our sense of mission shared together. Many thanks go out to all the Companions who gave us such great hospitality and insight.
