Biaggio Mazza, Pastoral Associate at St. Sabina parish, Belton Missouri, will facilitate a series titled Keys to the Council: Reading and Interpreting Key Teachings of the Second Vatican Council at Precious Blood Center, Liberty Missouri. The sessions will run Tuesday evenings from September 2 to September 23 from 7 PM-9 PM.
These sessions will examine key teachings of the Council on a variety of issues from liturgical engagement to primacy of conscience, from Catholic immersion in Scripture to the role of the Church in the world, from collegiality to the right of each individual to choose their path to God, from hierarchy of truths to the Church’s relationship, from the baptismal call of all Christians to God’s innate desire to save all people. Through select passages from the documents, participants can reflect on the pre-Vatican II attitudes toward these topics and their reconsideration from new and different perspectives that took place during the Council. All are invited to come and reflect on how the Spirit has spoken to the world through the Second Vatican Council.

Registration: contact Br. Daryl Charron at (816) 781-4344 or dcharron@kcprovince.org
Space is limited. Suggested donation: $20 per session
