Precious Blood Companions,
Our annual Companion retreat will be held in both provinces this year. In Kansas City Province we’ll gather from September 27 to September 28, 2014 at Conception Abbey in Conception, Missouri.
In Cincinnati Province, the Companion Retreat will be at St. Charles Center from October 25th and 26th, 2014.
Sister Mary Kevin Rooney will lead our retreat this year. Sister has a wide range of experience in ministry including serving as an educator, principal and formation director. She has completed extensive studies regarding the spirituality of the Adorers of the Blood of Christ and as served as a team member of the Center of International Spirituality. For the past 30 years she has served offered spiritual direction and led retreats across the country.
The theme for our retreat this year is, “WE are PRECIOUS! WE are BLOOD! WE are PRESENT!” In this vigil year of preparation for the 200th anniversary of the Precious Blood community we will spend the weekend exploring, living and recommitting ourselves to BEING Precious, BEING Blood and BEING Present to LIFE for the Church and for the world.
