Circle of Understanding

by Kathy Keary, PBRC Program Coordinator
Wednesday, February 1 was an exciting evening at the Precious Blood Renewal Center as we kicked off our first Circles of Understanding. After enjoying a delicious bowl of Lucia’s hot soup, a fresh green salad, and of course, dessert, the group of twenty-seven split into three groups where we listened to each other’s stories in a prayerful setting. While what happens in the Circle stays in the Circle, a theme that resonates is the reality that even though our Circles were diverse, common threads bind us together. It was an edifying experience to witness another as they described love of family and friends, sacred moments, influential role models and teachers, and the wisdom that we each draw on in our everyday lives.
Circles of Understanding will continue the first Wednesday of every month beginning with a simple soup supper at 6:00 PM. We hope to see you there.
